Today, Mercer County GEAR UP hosted an exciting STEM Day at the Mercer Mall for 9th and 10th grade students! Students rotated through interactive stations and hands-on activities that explored science, technology, engineering, and math in fun and engaging ways.

Bus 644 is running 25-30 minutes behind this morning, Friday, May 1st. This affects Princeton Primary, Mercer, Princeton Middle and Princeton High.
All school buses that travel on Athens Road will be delayed this afternoon (April 30th) due to a road closure from an accident not involving any school buses. This will impact PikeView Middle and High Schools, as well as Princeton Middle and High Schools.
Emily Smith, principal of the Mercer County Early Learning Center, spent time at today’s community baby shower sharing the joy of reading by handing out children’s books to families. A small gesture that makes a big difference in building a love of learning from the very start.
Today, our central office team stepped away from the usual routine for a team-building experience led by Mike McClanahan of Ad Valorem LLC—and it did not disappoint.
Through an engaging and interactive game, we explored our individual strengths, how we work together, and ways to strengthen both our productivity and overall impact as a team. It was a refreshing opportunity to see one another in a new light, share some laughs, and build stronger connections across departments.
A big thank you to Mike, who clearly enjoyed our group as much as we enjoyed the experience. Days like this remind us that investing in people is always worth it.
