Timberwood Elementary was honored to welcome Sgt. Amanda Moore from the Bluefield Police Department during Red Ribbon Week. Sgt. Moore, who also serves as a D.A.R.E. officer, visited the school to share an important message with students about making healthy choices and living a drug-free life.

Her engaging presentation reminded students of the importance of positive decision-making, self-respect, and surrounding themselves with people who encourage good choices. Sgt. Moore emphasized how living drug-free helps students achieve their goals and build a happy, successful future.

The Timberwood staff and students are deeply grateful for Sgt. Moore’s time and dedication to the youth of our community. Her visit was both educational and inspiring, reinforcing the values that Red Ribbon Week celebrates.

Thank you, Sgt. Moore, for helping our Timberwood Wolves stay motivated to make healthy, positive choices every day!
