What an amazing day with Mr. Willie Spears at Bluefield High School!
He started the day speaking to the BHS student body about having a plan now and in life! He also spoke to them about making good choices!
He next made a trip to Bluefield Middle before returning to Bluefield High to speak with our athletes and band members.
Mr. Spears finished the day with providing professional development to the Mercer County Schools teachers!
Mr. Spears messages provided inspiration and encouragement !

Willie Spears will be speaking to the Bluefield High School and Bluefield Middle School students throughout the school day on January 24th.
He will then be providing professional development for the Mercer County Schools teachers on January 24th from 4pm - 6pm.
This is going to be an awesome event for our students and staff!!

Mrs Akers' fourth period Biology class successfully built a dam (Jason learning lab Activity 3.2 engineering a dam) to help control erosion, as part of their Ecology unit wrap up.
The goal was to construct a structure that would hold one liter of water for at least one minute, then also allow water to flow for thirty seconds before stopping again.
