As you know, Brushfork received the Purple Star Award this year. We are celebrating military families this month in our school. Take this opportunity to help us make our school yard full of purple flags. Watch for an order form in your child's backpack. #purpleup4militarykids

Brushfork Elementary Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Griffey is an amazing educator. She teaches 3rd Grade. I have been Mrs. Griffey’s principal for 2 years. During that time, I have observed that Mrs. Griffey radiates passion and a zest for learning that is reflective in her commendable achievement data. Mrs. Griffey is always researching and employing instructional methods that will intrigue and inspire her scholars. She builds a classroom culture of love, understanding, and respect. Her students know that she “gets them” and they want to do their best for her. Mrs. Griffey is an exceptional educator that impacts lives like no other. We are so blessed to have her!

We are finishing a really great book tomorrow! Stay tuned for what we learned!
