The meeting was called to order. The purpose of LSIC was explained and the training video was viewed by everyone in attendance.
A vote was taken for the LSIC chair. Helen Vance nominated Katie Carter. All in attendance voted for her. The chair is Katie Carter and the assistant chair is Alice Jones.
Old Business
Plastic playground borders were ordered and paid for by Pastor Raulerson. They have been installed.
New Business
Beginning of year iReady assessment is completed for grades 1-5. Kindergarten is currently completing theirs.
WVGSA – We are improving. We will continue with our Pow wow Math (intervention).
Balance Score Card – Our attendance rate for the school year 2024-2025 is 95.88%. LMS exceeds standards in attendance and we meet standards in behavior. For academic progress, we meet standards in English Arts and partially meets standards in Math.
Safety Concerns:
Work order has been submitted to fix the gate on the playground.
Cones are being used to block off the parking lot from the basketball court.
