Mercer Elementary’s fourth-grade students absolutely loved visiting the historic McNutt House today during their walking field trip! Students learned about the home’s important role in Princeton’s history, including its use as a Union Army headquarters and field hospital during the Civil War. It was a wonderful opportunity for our Pirates to step outside the classroom, explore their community, and see local history come to life!
