October 28, 2022 (Montcalm, WV): Today, Montcalm High School was presented with a VH-1 Save the Music Grant in the amount of $40,000 to purchase new band instruments. Chiho Feindler-Chief Program Officer from Save the Music Foundation, Randall Reid-Smith-WV Curator for the Arts, Edward Toman-Superintendent, and Jim Bailey-MCBOE Member were in attendance. Austin Bolden, Montcalm High School's Band Director accepted the award and is looking forward to continuing to build MHS's band. Congratulations!
