This Kindergarten lesson was sensational🐍
Our Kindergarten students had a slithering good time learning about shorter and longer! Using Play-Doh, they created their very own snakes and had fun stretching, comparing, and measuring their creations!

Here are the minutes from the LSIC meeting that took place on June 15, 2026.
Our final attendance crowning was very special, as we not only recognized those students who had perfect attendance during the last 9 weeks, but we also recognized our KING and QUEEN of the Valley.
Special congrats goes out to Alaxander and Amina, our KING and QUEEN of the Valley. They had the best attendance out of the entire school for all four 9 weeks.
Our 4th and 5th graders had their end-of-year celebrations last week. It was such a great day celebrating all their accomplishments!
We're truly going to miss our 5th graders as they move on to middle school, but we wish them all the best of luck!

We’d like to thank Mark Godfrey for coordinating with Bluefield High School for the donation of 2 choral risers for MVES. Our Mountaineers can’t wait to put them to good use.💙💛

Several students were selected randomly and were able to have the opportunity to dump water on a teacher of their choice as a part of an End-of-Year iReady incentive. The students are already looking forward to doing this again next year!
Our End-of-Year Celebrations kicked off today with our Pre-K students. We are extremely proud of how much each one of these special lovebugs have grown this year!
