Students in Mrs. Woods’ art classes recently participated in mARTch Madness. Art I students researched historical artists, while Crafts students explored contemporary artists, creating graphic flyers to showcase their work. Students also completed prediction brackets alongside their projects.
The students pictured earned bragging rights in their classes for Best Artist/Flyer and Best Prediction Bracket. In 5th period, Kinzy Jones, Blake Jones, Bri Holdren, and Jadelyn Crews created a perfect prediction bracket.

Congratulations to Eli Hilling on setting the school strikeout record vs Capital last night. The previous record was 243 held by Levi Nash. Eli had 11 vs. Capital and currently has the record at 249.

Only one freshman or sophomore from each county is selected — and the entire experience is paid for. Students who participate also serve as WV Tourism student ambassadors for the following year.
