Attention Bluefield Middle parents and guardians. Bluefield Middle's fire alarm went off due to a heat sensor being knocked down off the wall. The fire department is on scene and has determined no fire or threat of fire is present. Students and staff are in the process of returning to their classrooms. Thank you.
Our Buccaneers are learning about archery again this semester. Mr. Yost demonstrates the safety procedures and the proper technique.
Mr. Morris is continuing with learning by station rotation. His students love the group collaboration and tend to remember the lesson longer.
Ms. Henkes had a group of students to reward after their test. They all remembered their brain dumps and all worked very hard on their test. We can’t wait to see their results.
The BMS Trash to Treasure Winners. These students will be recognized on Thursday for their efforts to help clean up our community. Congratulations to each of them and their creativity.

Mr. Morris and Ms. Watkins-Lewis along with their students are learning about the Victory Gardens during WWII. They learned about the history through walking notes posted inside the atrium. They then decided to create a garden to help spark student interest. We all look forward to watching the garden grow in our atrium.
