Great news! The Practical Nursing program was successfully reviewed by the WV State Board of Examiners for Licensed Practical Nurses. The program is fully accredited for the next three years.
MCTEC is holding a Reverse Career Fair on March 15, 2024. Business partners and employers interested in attending should scan the QR code to register for the event.

The Dental Assisting Program at MCTEC was recently audited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and received renewal of accreditation without any findings. If you are interested in a career as a Dental Assistant, come and train at MCTEC!

MCTEC has 57 students enrolled in dual credit pathways earning up to 16 FREE college credits PER SEMESTER! Dual credit pathways allow students to earn FREE college credit AND high school credit for classes. These students are getting a jump start on their future careers!

First Day Back for Students is August 24th!

On Friday, June 9th, students who are taking dual credit classes next year can come take the Accuplacer college entrance exam.
Students who have previously taken the SAT test can submit SAT scores to waive the Accuplacer requirement.
Testing will be at 9:00am and 1:00pm in Lab 206. Please call (304) 425-9551 or email dnfarmer@k12.wv.us to reserve your spot! Seats are limited and first come, first serve!

We enjoyed our time at Glenwood, Pikeview, Bluefield, Princeton, and Montcalm!
