What an AMAZING day to celebrate our pirates! This morning our fifth graders led our future third graders around the school! This evening our Mercer families joined us for a little Mercer BINGO!!

Our 3rd graders had a hoppin' good time today at the trampoline park in Christiansburg, VA! They even received numerous compliments from the staff regarding their good behavior. What a great day to enjoy some much-deserved and well-earned FUN!

Our Robotics Teams have had the experience of a lifetime in Dallas, TX this week. They have met students from all over the world and visited a beautiful city. We can’t wait for our kids to share their experiences with our school. Thankfully, we did have a few TEAMS meetings this week with the kids at home to share our journey!

Today one of our 5th grade classes had lunch at Campestre. They used good manners and represented Mercer very well. While returning back to school, our favorite bus driver, Mr Tony, stopped at Dairy Queen and bought each student an ice cream treat. Our students love Mr. Tony almost as much as they love ice cream!

Every April, Subaru Loves the Earth takes place to serve as an opportunity to highlight the efforts that Subaru retailers make throughout the year to help make our world a more sustainable place. Cole Subaru partnered with Mercer Elementary School on a Beautification Project in the month of April – planting flowers, trees and putting mulch down as their playground is open to the public in the center of downtown Princeton WV and we love where we live and we love partnering with our community to make it a better place for everyone.
This collective effort demonstrates our commitment to fulfilling the Subaru Love Promise to make the world a better place. It takes more than a car dealer to make it happen – it takes a Subaru retailer. Together, Cole Subaru is making a difference in our communities and we loved giving the students at Mercer Elementary a chance to make “our” world a better place.
Pirate Pacers ended their season today with an ice cream sundae party on a Monday. :) Today was all about playing games, enjoying a sweet treat, and celebrating this season's accomplishments.
