Wear BLUE on Thursday to support our friends with Autism!

We had our first day of Bowling Field Trips today!! Our students haven’t been on a “real” field trip since 2019. Today was a blast! They had fun practicing bowling and then a little treat for lunch! Thanks to Mountaineer Bowling for the hospitality.

Many thanks to Conn Weld Industry’s, Marvin Woodie for visiting our Robotics Teams. The students learned so much about engineers in the workplace. I think we may have some mechanical engineers in the group!! THANK YOU!!

Our fifth graders had a nice visit with Ms. Zickafoose, school counselors and the student leadership team from Princeton Middle. We sure will miss them next year but they are going to be awesome sixth graders!

A giant CONGRATULATIONS to Jonna! She won third place in the Mercer County Young Writers Contest for third grade. Wr are so proud of you!

We agree, Pirates are Awesome!

The Country Road Jeep Club hosted a ride today in honor of Mercer teacher, Sam Terry. It was only fitting the event was held today on Autism Awareness Day since Mr. Terry is one of our teachers of autism. He has been battling colon cancer since December. He is currently receiving treatments and doing well. The Jeep Club stopped in front of Mercer School where teachers and students rallied to support Mr. Terry. Amber Reed, former parent helped organize the event and decorate the fence line to honor him. It was a great morning of supporting one of our own!

Our phones and internet are now working! Thank you for your patience. 3/31/22 @ 10:20
