Our Student Council members helped make Mercer shine today after school! They stayed to pick up trash on our playground! Thank you for always putting our community first!

When running past a DQ and you hear it's free ice cream cone day, what do you do?! Why you stop for ice cream, of course!!!!

Ms. Neal's class used Lucky Charms to create bar graphs and answer questions by interpreting the bar graph data. They had a fun St. Patrick's Day doing math! 🍀🌈🍀🌈

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Mercer School! 🍀🍀🌈🌈🍀🍀

Our very own Pirate Pacers ran their "Green Mile" today! (which was actually 1.75 miles)
Each week, the Pirate Pacers have a different health focus in addition to their weekly running goal. This week's health focus is the importance of fueling our bodies appropriately.
The students were challenged to try 25 different GREEN fruits/veggies following their 1.75 mile run.
The coaches are SO proud of them for pushing out of their comfort zone to reach 1.75 miles, and also not being afraid to try new foods.
By the way, kiwi, grapes, pears, and apples were a hit! Okra, asparagus, brussel sprouts, kale, and lima beans...not so much.

Mrs. Walker’s third grade class “grew” rainbows today during Science Class. They may have found some gold at the end of their rainbows after PE class! ⭐️🍀⭐️🍀
