Cross Country Tryout information!

PVMS Football will have a parent meeting on Tuesday, July 30th, at 6 pm at PVMS. All parents need to attend. PVMS Football will be holding flex practices the week of Aug 5th. Please bring the required paperwork in order to practice: WVSSAC Physical Form, proof of insurance, and birth certificate.

PVMS Fall Sports Practices are starting soon!! August 5th- Cross Country August 12th- Football, Soccer, Volleyball, and Cheer Every student must bring the following with them on the first day of practice: WVSSAC Physical Form, proof of insurance, and copy of birth certificate. *Specific practice times will be announced later.

Time for Summer Band for our rising 7th and 8th graders! Percussion starts July 22-25 from 8-12 and July 29- Aug 1 from 8-12. Woodwinds and brass Aug 5-8 frim 8-12. Full band Aug 12-15 from 8-12. Students must have a sports physical and copy of insurance. Hope you are enjoying your summer!!

Flex Practice for Soccer this Summer will be from 9 am to 10:30 am on the following days: June 19th, 20th, and 21st. The two weeks after this will be off. We will practice the following weeks in July 9th-12th, 15th-18th, 22nd-25th, and the week of the 29th practice will be from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. I encourage soccer players to attend Concord Soccer Camp if possible. Please make sure your child has a physical dated after May 2, 2024, and a copy of a birth certificate and insurance card. The week of the 9th-12th we will have a soccer camp with players from 4-5:30.

Report cards will be mailed out to parents/guardians. Also, yearbooks will be available for pick-up in the fall.

Today starts our Awards Day Ceremonies! The doors will open for the 9am ceremony at 8:45, and for the 1pm ceremonies, the doors will open at 12:45. Please enter through the cafeteria doors. Visitors will be asked to sign in as they enter.

Parents/Guardians please pick up any medications your student has at school by 2pm on Friday, June 7th.   Any medications left at school after that time will be disposed of per Mercer County Schools Policy.  Thank you

The 2024 iReady Champions are Mrs. Curry's 7th grade math class. They passed 89 percent of their lessons completed during the competition.

Congratulations to Mrs. Woodring and our THREE Golden Horseshoe winners! Joanna, Taylor and Caleb will be honored as knights of the Golden Horseshoe at the WV Culture Center in Charleston, WV for having demonstrated exceptional knowledge of West Virginia history on the state administered exam.

Mrs. Wimmer's and Mrs. Underwood's 6th Grade ELA classes completed an activity to display the characterization of the main characters from the novel "Restart" by Gordon Korman. Their creativity is amazing!!
