Today starts our Awards Day Ceremonies! The doors will open for the 9am ceremony at 8:45, and for the 1pm ceremonies, the doors will open at 12:45. Please enter through the cafeteria doors. Visitors will be asked to sign in as they enter.


Parents/Guardians please pick up any medications your student has at school by 2pm on Friday, June 7th. Any medications left at school after that time will be disposed of per Mercer County Schools Policy.

The 2024 iReady Champions are Mrs. Curry's 7th grade math class. They passed 89 percent of their lessons completed during the competition.

Congratulations to Mrs. Woodring and our THREE Golden Horseshoe winners! Joanna, Taylor and Caleb will be honored as knights of the Golden Horseshoe at the WV Culture Center in Charleston, WV for having demonstrated exceptional knowledge of West Virginia history on the state administered exam.


Mrs. Wimmer's and Mrs. Underwood's 6th Grade ELA classes completed an activity to display the characterization of the main characters from the novel "Restart" by Gordon Korman. Their creativity is amazing!!




PVMS is holding our annual Career Day today, May 10th!! There will be several emergency vehicles and personnel on campus participating.
We would like to thank all presenters for giving up a day to come and share your career with our students!!


PVMS will hold a clinic for sports physicals and 7th grade required immunizations on Monday, 5/13 8am The immunizations are for those moving up to 7th grade.
Packets will be sent home. If your child wants to participate, they need to have forms completed and signed by a parent/guardian by Friday, May 10th.


Our students had a blast today with our State Testing Pep Rally!!
Reminder- testing starts Monday, May 6th. Get some rest this weekend and charge your laptops. We know you are all ready to do your best!


Mrs. Pettus's English class celebrated the end of their poetry unit with Poetry Cafe! Students enjoyed snacks and reading their original poems.
