Today PVMS is holding our annual Career Day!! As part of the presentations, there will be police vehicles and an ambulance on site.


Mrs. Pettus's class wrapped up the end of their poetry unit with Poetry Cafe. Students wrote many different types of poems throughout the unit and then chose one to read in front of the class. They enjoyed lots of snacks and heading their classmates poems.




Reminder for 6th Graders, Bluestone Health Clinic will be here tomorrow, Wednesday, May 24th to give the Tdap and MCV4 vaccines to those students who have turned in the paperwork.

PVMS is hosting a Spring Dance on Friday, May 19th. This semi-formal dance will be 6-8pm. Tickets are $5 each and concessions will be sold. This event is for PikeView Middle School students only.

PVMS would like to invite you to our Panther Pride Band Concert at the school on Thursday, May 11th.
Joining the PVMS beginning band and our award winning varsity band will be the percussion ensemble from PikeView High School who were chosen to perform at the West Virginia State solo and ensemble festival in Charleston, and the jazz band also from PikeView High School.
The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. in our gymnasium. We would love to have your support of our musical panthers!


PVMS being a GEAR UP school will now have access to Tutor.com. To gain access to this site, students need to send back permission slips that were mailed to them. Tutor.com is a 24 hour online service that our 6th and 7th graders will have access to now throughout their senior year. Have you had an A in conduct all school year? If so, we have a FUN DAY planned for you!
Who: All PVMS students who have maintained an "A" in conduct for the entire school year.
When: Monday June 5th, 2023, 8:30am-3pm
Where: PVMS Campus
What to bring: sunscreen, hat, blanket, or anything else you need to enjoy being outside.
What NOT to bring: cell phones and all other electronics and money. Lunch will be provided.
**Please note that if your conduct grade for the remainder of the quarter drops below an "A" prior to June 5th, you will no longer be eligible to attend the Fun Day activities.
*Parents: if you would like to donate items for this day, such as water, individual bags of chips, or individual packages of cookies, please bring them to the school no later than May 19th.
