
Parents of 7th and 8th grade students:
Seventh and Eighth grade students begin their mandatory WVGSA testing tomorrow.
Please make sure they charge their laptops tonight and bring their laptop and chargers to school tomorrow to take their tests.
Students are not permitted to have a cell phone or smartwatch on them while they take the test.
Please make sure your child understands that their cellphones are to be turned off and placed in their lockers while they are on school grounds.
They are never allowed inside a testing classroom, per school, county, and state policy.

Wednesday, April 26, 2023, Reading
Thursday, April 27, 2023, Writing
Monday, May 1, 2023, Science (8th grade only)
Tuesday, May 2, 2023, Math

The SAT School Day assessment is tomorrow for all Juniors. Please read below for reminders regarding the day:
1. Make sure you child has a good night's sleep and is here on time.
2. All cell phones and smart watches must be turned off and will be collected and stored by the Principal, Ms. Stone.
3. Students will receive their items back after testing has concluded for everyone.
4. If you would like for your child to receive an Early Dismissal, please send a permission slip including your name and number. We have to make contact with parents to approve their release. This is non-negotiable.

Tomorrow, March 21, 2023, Jostens distributes Senior items, including Caps and Gowns, between 11 am – 2 pm at MHS.
Students who have afternoon classes at MCTEC will report to MCTEC as usual and receive their items at the end of the day.
