Hello, this is a message from Princeton Middle School. We invite all parents and guardians to join us at the school tomorrow between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. for a special event with several community professionals. You’ll learn about helpful strategies to support your student through difficult situations, including stress, anxiety, bullying, and more. Earlier in the day, our students will also meet with these professionals to receive practical tips and tools. Thank you for supporting the well-being of our students. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Students in Ms. Lucas's class created objects that met the shape requirements for the surface area of 3D figures they had been working on. Students created a model of the objects, had them open up as nets and found the surface area of their objects.

Week 2 (Oct 6-10) of our attendance competition is in the books! Unfortunately, BMS beat us this week, 95% (BMS) to 93.05% (PMS).

Tigers, remember to show up and show up on time for a productive day! Let's blow Week 3 out of the water! :)

Hands-on learning to find the surface area of objects in Ms. Lucas's class!

🔆 Solar Power Comes to Life in Mrs. Mills’ Classroom! 🔧🔋

Mrs. Mills’ Robotics and Math students had an exciting opportunity to participate in a hands-on, interactive lesson led by WV STEAM TAC, visiting from West Virginia University!

The lesson focused on the science behind solar power and its real-world applications in solar farms and energy grids. Using Snap Circuits, students explored how solar panels collect energy and how that energy is stored in batteries for later use—just like in real-life renewable energy systems.

Through this engaging activity, students investigated important concepts like voltage, current, and resistance, gaining a deeper understanding of how electricity works and how solar energy is converted into usable power.
Thank you to WV STEAM TAC for bringing this powerful STEM experience to life, and to Mrs. Mills for always fueling innovation and discovery in her classroom!

Remember, grades K-8 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for this event!

Week 1 of our attendance competition is in the books! And the winner is...

PMS with a 94.46% weekly attendance rate to BMS's 92.74% weekly attendance rate!

Way to go Tigers! Now, let's ensure that our winning streak continues as we head into WEEK 2!

Hello Tigers!!

We're excited to announce the kickoff of our attendance incentive program starting on Monday, 9/29/25.

We will be doing a competition with Bluefield Middle School to see who can achieve the best school attendance for the second quarter!!

Be sure to show up ON TIME, so we can beat the Bluefield Middle Buccaneers!!!

ATTENDANCE INCENTIVE! (see below)

If you have no more than two excused absences from 9/29/25 through 10/31/25, you will qualify for the incentive in the gym on Halloween, 10/31/25 which will be a free period to play ball and spend time with friends.

Remember, school starts at 8 AM SHARP !!
