✈️📊 Mrs. Mills's math students at Princeton Middle School took learning to new heights!
Students designed and created their very own paper airplanes, each with unique styles and features. After testing their planes with 20 flight trials outside, students collected and analyzed real-world data from their flights.
Using their results, students calculated the:
📈 Mean
📉 Median
🔢 Mode
📏 Range
📊 Interquartile Range (IQR)
➖ Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD)
Hands-on learning + creativity + math in action = an awesome day in class! We are so proud of the creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking our students demonstrated throughout this project. 💙🧡

History has officially been made… AGAIN!
It’s with incredible pride and excitement that we can announce we now have Tigers qualified for Nationals 2026! This will mark only the SECOND group in program history to compete on the national stage — a huge accomplishment that reflects the hard work, sacrifice, discipline, and determination these athletes have shown all season long.
These athletes have earned the opportunity to compete at the prestigious ✨ Adidas Outdoor Nationals ✨ in Greensboro, North Carolina at the incredible North Carolina A&T State University!
This is bigger than medals and times. This is history. This is legacy. This is Princeton Middle School Track & Field continuing to prove that Tigers belong on the BIG stage! 🔥🐅🧡💙

GO TIGERS ALWAYS!!!! 🐅🧡💙

Last week students worked with recipes designed for serving sizes ranging from 2 people all the way to 102 people. Using their math skills, students adjusted ingredient amounts to create the correct number of servings needed.
After completing their calculations, students headed to the cafeteria where they used measuring tools and their newly created recipes to prepare their food creations. Then came the best part — taste testing their own recipes and sampling their classmates’ dishes! 😋
Good thing their calculations were correct… or those recipes may not have turned out so well! Thankfully, everything was delicious, and students had an amazing time applying real-world math skills in a hands-on learning experience.
We are so proud of the hard work, teamwork, and problem-solving our students demonstrated throughout this activity! 💙🧡
