Good afternoon parents! Tomorrow, we are changing the dismissal time for student walkers and car riders to our first bell release at 3:17pm. Thank you for your patience with this positive change to keep our students safe! As a reminder, we must have all forms returned from the beginning of the year for students to be issued a device this Friday. We plan to take our very first iReady Math and Reading test next week. Thank you for supporting and encouraging your students to do their best. It is going to be a great year!

Good afternoon! We have had a good response in getting signed homeroom forms back. However, we still are missing quite a few forms. We especially need the Emergency Cards, Telecommunications Form, Device Agreement and Telecommunications Forms signed and returned so that we can begin student device handout on Friday. If a student does not have these forms returned, they cannot be issued a laptop. Many teachers will begin electronic lessons next week via Schoology and other online educational sites. Please also keep in mind that Monday, September 2, is the Labor Day holiday. Schools will be closed. Thank you for your assistance in making this an outstanding school year for our staff and students of Princeton Middle School.

Good afternoon Princeton Middle School students and parents! We are excited to see everyone tomorrow evening at our Meet the Teacher Event. 8th graders will meet their teachers in the cafeteria from 3:00-4:00pm. 7th graders will meet their teachers in the auditorium from 4:00-5:00pm. 6th graders will meet their teachers in the cafeteria from 5:00-6:00pm. All staff will be available. We will ask parents/guardians to complete information packets during tomorrow's meet and greet! A few other tidbits of information include, our tardy bell will ring this year at 8:00am, students need to bring a lock for their lockers as all cell phones must be stored in lockers during the day, and all students receive a free breakfast and lunch daily.

Good afternoon Princeton Middle School parents and students. We wanted to remind everyone that we plan to send home report cards through the mail this Friday. It is very important that we have your correct mailing address on file. If you need to change this, please reach out to us at 304-425-7517 and we will be happy to assist you. In addition, Nurse Jenny wants to remind all rising 7th graders about turning in documentation for the required immunizations. These must be on record before your student can participate in summer activities and for the first day of school on August 22nd. Nurse Jenny also wants to remind parents to pick up all medications by Friday, June 7th. We have about 20 devices and many chargers that have not been returned. Please make sure these are returned immediately so that you are not billed for this equipment. Thank you everyone!

Tomorrow we will begin testing with AM classes. As a reminder, please make sure your student gets a good night of rest, eats breakfast at home or school, brings their charger and computer. We can't wait to see how well our students do on this year's summative testing! Thank you to our fabulous PTO for creating signs and treat bags for all students tomorrow.

Parents and Guardians - this is just a reminder that we begin state testing next Tuesday, April 30th! We are so excited to see how much our students have grown this year. It is important that each student bring their charger each day to school as well as their device. We do not have extra chargers or devices for the testing window. If you have any questions, please contact the school at 304-425-7517.

Congratulations to our Princeton Middle Band and Mr. Jacob Pauley! Our band participated in the Region VI Band Festival at the Chuck Mathena Center and was awarded an overall rating of II. A rating II means, "This rating reflects an unusual performance in many respects - it is a performance of distinctive quality." We are so proud of our students!!!

Good evening Princeton Middle School! This message is to get a few general reminders to our students, parents, and guardians. All students received their report cards on Friday. The report card envelopes need to be returned to homeroom teachers by Wednesday, 04/17/24. We will have an extended period of time in homeroom on Wednesday to conduct a device check. As all students were issued a device and charger at the beginning of this year, we will be checking for these two items. In addition, we will be checking that the device is free of paint, writing, stickers, and has all keys attached. It is very important that students properly care for the devices that they have been issued. Should you have any questions about your student's device, please contact us at 304-425-7517. Thank you so much for your help and support!

In support of the 10th Annual Community Cleanup, PMS is looking for volunteers who would be willing to tidy up our school grounds as well as bordering areas to help our campus look its very best. Students and volunteers are asked to help on 4/16/24 and again on 4/23/24 from 3:30-4:30pm. We have some orange vests, gloves, 10 sets of grabbers, and trash bags. Students participating will need to be picked up from the school at 4:30pm. Thank you for helping PMS with our small part in the "Love Where We Live" initiative!
