PVMS students had a great time at Concord University's Health Care Career Exploration Day yesterday. CU faculty led exploration sessions including hands on athletic training, biology and nursing activities with the students. Students were also treated to a delicious lunch in the cafeteria and exciting campus tours led by the CU admissions team. What a great learning experience for our students!

We are asking our students and staff to join other schools in the county and wear blue on Wednesday, November 9th.


Mrs. Sigmon's Math classes and AA have been doing a lot of fun learning activities!!
Math Cafe is placing orders from a menu, adding totals and figuring percents (taxes and tips).
Math Scavenger Hunts are for solving equations and finding the next equation to solve based on the solution.
The roller coaster was a STEM project in AA.

@ScholasticBookFairs is coming on November 14-18 . All the stories and characters they love and some brand-new finds! Stack em' up at the Scholastic Book Fair!


Makeup picture day is November 15th for those students who were not at school to have their picture taken for the yearbook. Picture proofs have been sent home and picture orders may be placed online using the information on the proof.

Hey PVMS Panthers, are you ready for basketball season??
There will be tryouts for the boys basketball team next week on November 8th, 9th, and 10th from 3:30-5:30pm. Please bring your WVSSAC physical form, a copy of your birth certificate, and a copy of your insurance card. We can't wait for the season to start!!


Ms. Larkin's Spanish class made flowers and skull masks to celebrate the Day of Dead. In Mexico, "Día de los Muertos" is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd.


On this last day of Bullying Prevention Month, we want to encourage our students to make everyday a day to prevent bullying!
