October is Bullying Prevention Month and we want our students to remember to be upstanders. An upstander is a person who speaks or acts in support of an individual or cause, particularly someone who intervenes on behalf of a person being attacked or bullied. Describe a situation where you could be an up-stander to help stop bullying.

Our Volleyball team travels to Bluefield. The games begin at 5:00 p.m.

Our football team will travel to Peterstown to play the championship. The game starts at 6:30 p.m.

Next week is Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October. All Mercer County students and staff are encouraged to wear red next Tuesday, October 25th in support of this campaign.
