This week the MCBOE held special ceremonies to honor the Service Persons of the Year and the Teachers of the Year. A special remembrance was also presented to the families of the bus drivers we lost this year.

8th Grade Awards- Friday May 27th at 8:30 am
7th Grade Awards- Tuesday May 31st at 1 pm

Band Concert in the gym on Thursday the 12th at 6:30pm with special guests from the PVHS band.
8th graders will tour PikeView High School on Friday May 13th at 1:30pm. If you do not want your child to attend the tour, please send a note or call the school to opt out.
Spring Fling Dance Friday May 13th, 6-8pm.
This Summer, 2022, PikeView Middle School will host an enrichment and credit recovery academy for all interested students. Our current 8th graders will be taking a tour of PikeView High School next Friday, May 13th, at 1:30. Thank you to PVHS for hosting the tour!
The PBIS program is planning a field trip to Camp Creek State Park on Wednesday, June 1st.
This will be a positive behavior incentive for any student who maintained an "A" in conduct the entire school year! Permission slips will be given out by 1st period teachers soon.
Also, if anyone would like to donate sodas for the field trip, they would be greatly appreciated. You can drop them off in the office.
The PVMS PBIS program is hosting a Spring Fling Dance next Friday, May 13th, from 6-8 pm. This is a semi-formal dance and school dress code applies. Concessions will be sold.
Pre-paid tickets from the canceled dance earlier in the year will be honored. If you did not purchase one, you can buy a ticket at the door!
Staff will be outside to help with a safe dismissal at the end of the dance.
