Congratulations to our Concord Business Challenge Winners! Landon Crane, Dominick Hodges, and Sydney Meadows won in contest categories. Dominick Hodges won a $1,000 scholarship and Landon Crane won a $4,000 scholarship to attend the university. We are proud of every participant!

Representatives from business and industry met today at the Mercer County Technical Education Center. They were invited to collaborate with career technical teachers and administrators. An overwhelming number of attendees came to tour the campus and learn more about skills, credentials, and free college credit available to students. The goal of the event is to establish relationships and share information to better prepare students for careers.

A big thank you to Robert Crawford and Andrew Means with the Education Alliance for visiting our students today to help them get signed on as Americorp mentors! These students received goodies, including a laptop, and will be getting compensated for their work in our local elementary schools.
