MCTEC recognized statewide during the recent WV Career Technical Education Administrators Conference held September 16th-September 17th.

Don't forget about the MCS Express Food Truck this week! Today they're in Bluefield at the Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church. Tomorrow at the First Christian Church across from Straley School, Wednesday at Matoaka Summer Day Camp at the Matoaka Fire Department, and Thursday at the Montcalm Volunteer Fire Department. Each day is from 11:00-12:30. Bring your kids for food and fun!

MCTEC students showcased their skills and projects to local employers today during the Reverse Career Fair on campus. Students benefited by making connections and networking. Thank you to all business representatives for attending and sharing career opportunities.

Welding students have been using their skills to make ornamental artwork and outdoor metal fire pits. Their creations are for sale in the mercantile. Mr. Hodges teaches welding classes at MCTEC.

Elijah Wood used Fusion 360 to program and design chess pieces that were machined on the Haas CNC lathe. Elijah is a Machine Tool Technology student at MCTEC. Brian Lively is his teacher.
